PRESENCE: LYRICS
I will Rejoice
© 2005 Michelle Gold & Joe Franco
(Based on Habakkuk 3:17-19 & Psalm 143:5-6)
Though the trees don’t blossom
and the berries are spoiled
And there’s no return for our toil
No wine to taste and all the oil is gone
And we’ve lost all we depended on;
Yeshua, You’re on your way with faith I stand
With the power of heaven hidden in your hand
Chorus:
I will rejoice in You Adonai
Joy in You, God of my salvation
You will make my feet like the feet of a dear
I will trust, I will not fear;
You will make me walk on high hills!
I will Rejoice
Verse 2:
My foot has held fast to your steps in stride
I’ve kept your ways and have not turned aside
Your love is honey and Your word is bread
I’ll always treasure what you’ve said
You know the way I go & I’ve been told;
When You’ve tested me, I shall come forth as gold
Chorus
Bridge:
Spirit in me never wither
Like an eagle, soar and rise above earth
My hands are stretching out to you in surrender
I trust in you and I shall never thirst, I shall never thirst
INTO HIS PRESENCE (LET US GO)
© 2010 Michelle Gold & Dan Needham
Based on Hebrews Chapter 10:22 NLT
Verse 1
Into the presence of our God
We can boldy go where angels trod
Like a baby to his Mother’s chest
We can come to Him and we can rest
PRE-CHORUS
Fall on our knees before Him now; Before His face we humbly bow
And all our reflections seem so small
In the light of loving and serving all
Chorus
Let us go, Let us go, Let us go into His presence
To the one, to the one, To the one who can save us
And forget, and forget, all the worries that have found us
& be filled with his love that surrounds us,
Let us go, let us go, let us go
Verse 2
When the world has torn & turned us down
We fall into God’s love safe and sound
Untouched by every word and sword
Restored in the fountain of the Lord
PRE-CHORUS 2
No weapon against us shall prevail
No scowling wind or stormy gale
We rest in the shelter of the most high
His angels guard us as we draw nigh
(Chorus)
Bridge
Let us go boldly, step into the light
Where pain has no victim and love wins the FIGHT
His love for us is revealed in His sacrifice
Where all who are searching find hope that they need
And every heart longing to follow by deeds
Will see His mercy has set us free
(CHORUS)
TIKKUN OLAM (REPAIR THE WORLD)
C 2020 Michele L Jaffe, Michelle Gold, Dan Needham, Rebecca Moskowitz
(Based on Isaiah 52:1..Isaiah 61, Zephaniah 3:14, Zech. 9:9, Mathew 5:15)
Verse 1
Hazel eyes, a tender heart - broken, not fully awoken
(Yet) underneath her canopy she thought "there must be more for me”
Gazing out the windowpane, cries to the sky, “whoever wherever you are, why should I live my life
She hears, "my daughter, Habat shelli, you cannot die, you belong to me"
Pre-chorus
"Your voice will bring hope and healing, Now over you I’m singing"
CHORUS
Wake up oh Zion; Shout in triumph
No more shame, no more silence, healing has come
Shake off your dust Jerusalem;Rise up in power, live again
Repair the World, healing has come, Tikkun Olam (Repair the World)
VERSE 2
Free yourself; throw off your pain; Put on your garments of praise,
(Robed in) splendor for all of your days
Pouring out like oil, you've mourned, now in my arms are restored
Pre-Chorus 2
Your scars have made you stronger, They will not hurt you any longer
CHORUS
Wake up oh Zion; Shout in triumph
No more shame, no more violence, healing has come
Shake off your dust Jerusalem;Rise up in power, live again
Repair the World, healing has come, Tikkun Olam (Repair the World)
BRIDGE:
To the hopeless, the hurting, the one with no peace
At the sound of His voice, all darkness must flee
From the motherless child to the outcast reviled
My captive sons and daughters, you are free!
Outro:
Fathers and brothers
Lift up your mothers
Pray for eachother
Repair the world
YOU ANSWER ME
c 2013 Karin Paparelli and Michelle Gold & Dan Needham
(Based on Psalm 3: 4 & 5, Philippians 4:6, & Psalm 115:1)
I call on you, my Adonai, You answer me
From your Holy Mountain, You answer me
I lie down to sleep, & when I awake, You answer me
Above all the noise and even in darkness, You hear
CHORUS:
There’s a peace that surpasses understanding
And a comfort of knowing I don’t need to know
When it's yes and when it's no, and in the letting go You answer me
In the unfathomable and the beautiful, I can see your hand
In the breeze of the trees, in calmness I stand, You answer me
You say come to me all you weary there’s rest for your souls
You don’t need to be carried away by anxiety at all
There's a peace...(CHORUS)
Bridge:
No more, no more, you say, no need to ask me why
My greatness is revealed in you, my child
Even If
C 2020 Michelle God, Dan Needham, & Karin Paparelli
(Based on Daniel 3:16-20 & Job 1:21)
Verse 1:
Vulnerable, Fragile, each day it’s hard to bear the weight, they say try to smile
I know, I pray, that the Lord can make a way for us, He is strong, I am brave
Mighty is the Lord to save
CHORUS:
Even if…even if, even if, even if
The water overtake, the world may shake,
everything may break (everything may break)
Your praise will be upon my lips EVEN IF
Verse 2
Adonai arise, my enemies bring pain inside (Pain inside)
Confident I speak, Your words have the power to strengthen me,
so they can see, though I suffer heaven waits for me
CHORUS:
Even if…even if, even if, even if
The water overtake, the world may shake,
everything may break (everything may break)
Your praise will be upon my lips EVEN IF
Bridge:
Though I walk through the valley, I walk through the flame
Still I will say, “Blessed Be Your name”
I will fear no evil for You are in the midst
Still I will say, “Blessed Be His name EVEN IF”
(CHORUS)
Be Still
© 2005 Michelle Gold & Sue Samual
(Based on Psalm 46:10)
Verse 1
Slow down you move too fast, my Momma used to say
Rushing through life's business, caught in a crazy maze
What does God think of our foolishness and our sometimes foolish ways?
“All is vanity under the sun,” or so I’ve heard Him say,
Chorus:
Be still and know that He is God
Just let Him quiet your soul
Basking in the sunshine of His holiness
Bow down before your King of Kings
Join in as all creation sings His praise
Verse 2
Why not take deep breath from the moment you arise?
Without Pushing God’s love aside till it’s cold and dark, and we close our eyes
Never in our lives have we needed Adonai,
Like we need Him now; if we can’t be still then we will surely die, mmm
(Chorus)
Bridge
Cast your cares upon the one
Who made the moon and set the sun
Lay your burdens bare, my child
Chorus:
Be still and know that He is (your) God
Just let Him quiet your soul
Basking in the sunshine of His holiness
Bow down before your King of Kings
Join in as all creation sings His praise
WHEN YOU BELIEVE
from The Prince of Egypt Movie, written by Stephen Schwartz with Hebrew Lyrics taken from the song of the sea in the book of Exodus 1:18, 20, & 21
(Based also on Hebrews 11:6)
Many nights we prayed
With no proof anyone could hear
In our hearts a hope for a song we barely understood
Now we are not afraid
Although we know there's much to fear
We were moving mountains long before we knew we could
[Chorus]
There can be miracles when you believe
Though hope is frail, it’s hard to kill
Who knows what miracles you can achieve
When you believe, somehow you will
You will when you believe
[Verse 2]
In this time of fear when prayer so often proves in vain
Hope seems like the summer birds too swiftly flown away
Yet now I'm standing here
My heart so full I can't explain
Seeking faith and speaking words I never thought I'd say
(Chorus)
[Bridge]
[HEBREW CHILDREN]
Ashira l'adonai; ki gao ga-ah, Ashira l'adonai; ki gao ga-ah
(I will sing to the Lord, for He has triumphed gloriously!)
Mi cha-mocha baelim adonai
(Who is like you Oh Lord among the celestials?
Mi ka-mocha nedar ba kodesh
Who is like You, majestic in holiness?)
Nachita v'chas-d'cha am zu ga-alta (repeat)
(In Your love, You lead the people You redeemed!)
Ashira, ashira, ashira (I will sing!)
(Chorus)

Hallelu- HU viga vu- rotav /for his acts of power
HU Kerov Gudlo /for his surpassing greatness.
HU Betekka shofar /with the sounding of the trumpet
HU Benevel Vechinor /with the harp and lyre
Verse 1
I heard there was a sacred birth
A child born who would save the earth
To show the world that God above, he loves ya
This child was born by humble means
but worshipped still by kings and queens
the angels singing praises Halleluyah
Hallelujah
Verse 2
Well he was tempted He was tried
He was God personified
He said just Ask, and it will be given to ya
He raised the dead; made blind to see
The sick were healed and captives free
Those he touched would sing him Hallelujahs
Hallelujah
He was beaten and crucified
With one final breath he cried
It is finished, Hallelujah
Verse 3 (added by Michelle Gold)
Well maybe you've been listening to my voice as I sing
Yeshua, He has risen, Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Ending:
Halleluhu Be-TZIL- TZELE SHEMA
Halleluhu Be-TZIL- TZELE TRU-A
praise him with the clash of cymbals, praise him with resounding cymbals.
Hallelujah!
English ALT ENDING:
And with a mighty trumpet sound
Every knee will bow down; Then all will praise His name with Hallelujah

Original version by Becky Scwartz had this for verse 2
They went to the tomb unaware

Center Of My Life
© 1998 Music by Keith Kemper & Lyrics by Alyse Merritt & Michelle Gold & Joe Franco
(Based on Psalm 125:2, John 1:1-4, Psalm 91, Colossians 1:15 & 16)
Verse 1
Healer You are; You are my bright and morning star.
You surround me like the mountains surround Jerusalem
Before you, I l(can) lay my burdens bare, ‘Cause You feel my every care;
I come as I am yet you love me still, You always have and always will
CHORUS:
You are my comfort, you’re my King
You’re the reason why I sing
And You’ll always be
Like the earth around the sun
I revolve around You, my first love
You will always be… the center of my life
Verse 2
When I sleep, sometimes I feel fear; But I know, I know that You are near
When I kneel and pray I’m a child again, And it feels like make believe
But I know, it’s real I can’t ignore; Cause when I hear the lions that roar,
I can feel Your wings as they cover me; You’re my shelter from the storm!
Bridge:
You’re the One who really loves me, You’re the One who really cares,
In you’re arms You’ll always carry me
I close my eyes but You’re still there
Woh....Oh-oh-oh-oh...... Everything I do, everything I do, I do it all for You.
(Chorus)

CENTRO DE MI VIDA- CENTER OF MY LIFE
Written by Michelle Gold & Keith Kemper
Spanish by Virginia Pastorini & Michelle Gold
Verse 1
Mi sanador, eres tu
Mi brillante estrella, eres tu
Como los montes de Jerusalén, eres tu rodeándome
A tus pies mis cargas rendiré
(Chorus)
Bridge
En ti yo soy amado
Siempre me cuidarás
En tus brazos me has llevado
Nunca me abandonarás
La la la…Todo lo que hago, lo hago por ti, por ti, como te amo
Lai, lai, lai... Eres todo lo que pedías
Hebrew Chorus:

LINER NOTES
INVITATION
While making this album, we lost my Mom, best friend, & life-long cheerleader, Ruth Gold, who passed away from complications of COVID. She was everything to me and more. Not even a year before that, my Dad, who had disowned me for my faith in Yeshua (and later embraced me), was taken up to heaven with a sudden diagnosis of brain cancer.
Though I miss my parents more than words can say, God miraculously made His presence known in our lives. Both my parents lived very full and happy lives, making this world a better place with their voices of love and contagious joy for life. Yet there was just one thing missing...the promise of a better world to come. I was BLESSED that my Jewish parents came to faith in their Messiah & received heaven’s promise while holding fast to their Jewish identity, culture, and calling.
Our relationship might have begun with much discord, but because of our faith, the 12-step program, and our willingness to forgive, I got to see the loving hand of God heal all the wounds. For each tear I cried, He was turning every regret into rejoicing & reconciliation.
God healed me and God is able to heal YOU today and reconcile YOU to HIM. He says” I am yours and you are mine” and He is close to the broken-hearted. (Psalms 34:18, Song of Songs 2:16) God is proposing to us today. He wants to be our Lord, our leader, our counselor, and our friend. But we must say yes. Will you say yes to Him right now?
(Lord, we admit we need Your love and guidance. We confess our wrongs and we believe that You alone can save us. Amen)
Send me an email to tell me if today, you are saying "Yes" to Yeshua for the first time Info@michellegold.com
